Mark has extensive knowledge of internet, communications and media markets in many different countries and 30 years of corporate operating and deal-making experience. Mark is very experienced in change and ambiguity management. He has led a large number of business turnarounds with revenues ranging from start-ups to a billion dollars, delivering significant shareholder returns. He has also acted as adviser to media and technology companies.
He is currently Senior Independent Director at Entertainment One Limited (LSE:ETO), Chairman Somo Global Limited and Director at Dealtforce Limited (Mark’ennovy group)and Benross Golf Limited.
Previously operating experience includes CEO Rambler Media, SVP & MD Yahoo Europe, Deputy MD Hodder Headline plc and Commercial Director of Sega Europe and Virgin Communications. Past non-executive directorships include RhythmOne plc, Rambler Media Limited, Web Reservations International Limited, Newbay Software Limited, Autonomy plc and Miva Inc.. Mark holds an MBA from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC (Coopers & Lybrand) and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Queen’s University, Ontario, Canada.
